Tracking products’ sustainability along the supply chain through a digital system and digital product passport POC.
Initiative Description

The initiative aims to design a use case, design and develop a Digital Product Passport (DPP) along the supply chain, tracking and monitoring a selection of data, through the implementation of a digital system (platform and passport) , which guarantees the transparency and efficiency of the exchange and access of information along the supply chain.

Implementation
  • Map the supply chain (from recyclers to the final users) and its stakeholders (in/out Federated Innovation); gather needs and opportunities.
  • Assess relevant European and Italian regulations and trends on the specific sector.
  • Engage the supply chain experts and stakeholders through (semi-)structured surveys and consolidation workshop.
  • Define a use case, e.g. info needed, stored, available, requested (mandatory and nice-to-have).
  • Implement the technology through:
  1. Tech mapping and tech provider scouting assessment
  2. Platform design and development
  3. Platform piloting and testing
  4. Platform roll-out at MIND
