Long Bio: I collaborate with the National Technological Cluster on Life Sciences Alisei as Special Advisor. Under the current Italian Presidency of the G20, I am the Chair of the T20 Task Force on Global Health and Covid-19 and I am Member of the Italian Delegation to the Programme Committee of Horizon Europe-Cluster Health I have done my career within the European Commission where I have been Director General for Health and Consumer until 2014. After having returned to Italy, I have been President of the Price and Reimbursement Committee of the Italian Medicines Agency until September 2018, and I am Chair of the Technical Committee of the Valletta Declaration on Cooperation for Better Access to Medicines.
